Bamboo Rods

We have decided to continue our bamboo rodmaking for at least another year.
The bamboo rods have been very well accepted by our customers and all of us continue to enjoy making them. Therefore, we are planning on making approximately 150 bamboo rods. We will assign to customers their rod serial number based on the sequence in which we receive their order. We will continue to put individual names on those rods as requested by the buyers. We ask for a 25% deposit with the balance to be paid when we start the final assembly of your rod. The rod will be delivered within 4 months of the final payment. As of January 2007 we expect to deliver rods within 12-18 months of their order. This could change depending on the number of orders we receive.

You will be notified of your serial number at the time of your deposit and the
approximate delivery date of the finished rod.

Graphite Rods
We have held our graphite rod prices the same since 2003 but have incurred several price increases for our components. As a result we are raising our graphite rod prices for 2008 $100. We sell approximately 25 graphite rods per year and each one is custom made to order. Our typical delivery now runs from 9 to 12 months. When we receive your order we will put you in our order queue and give you an estimated delivery date. Since our delivery date is several months away we are currently not asking for a deposit. When we are ready to start your rod we will ask for a $500 deposit and will give you an up-to-date delivery estimate.

Reels
We currently have the Morgan/Saracione Reels in stock from our first shipment of 2007. We will receive another shipment of reels later in 2007. Joe Saracione has confirmed that these will be the last reels we receive from him. Once we are out of stock of the current inventory we will take orders for reels in the second shipment. We are not asking for a deposit to hold a reel order in the second shipment but will put your name in the queue and notify you when they are ready to ship. At that time we will ask for the entire payment.

Hand Mills
It is our intention to keep them in stock and available for immediate shipment. If we are out of Hand Mills it should only be a short time before they are available. We typically keep all accessories in stock.

Payment
We accept personal checks, international money orders, wire transfers, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards for payment. If you would like to make a wire transfer our bank name, address, and routing number will be supplied on request. If you made a deposit when you ordered we will notify you when we are ready to ship so you can make arrangements for the final payment.

Shipping
For the rods and reels we normally charge for air shipping. Our experience shows that packages sent by air get priority treatment and arrive in better condition. Should you have a different preference, let us know. The Hand Mills are normally shipped UPS ground in the U.S. or Canada. Overseas shipments are sent by air freight. You may also pick up your rod, reel, or Hand Mill at our shop by appointment.

Guarantee
We have carefully chosen and inspected all of the components of the Tom Morgan Rodsmiths Rods, Reels and Hand Mills, and guarantee them against any defect in material and workmanship. If a product fails due to a defect we will replace it free of charge. We do not guarantee these rods, reels, or Hand Mills against damage caused by improper handling, neglect or accident. If you should be so unfortunate as to break a rod or damage a reel, we will repair or replace it for a fee. Send it to us for an estimate. Each rod and reel will come with a warranty registration card.
